This home of 144 square meters is located in West End, Australia, with a local characteristic described as a fusion of cultures and a mix of alternative and vintage styles. It was designed in 2015 by architectural firm Richard Kirk Architect. The construction has wide openings with a wooden structure to expand the internal spaces and thus preventing the area from looking closed and lugubrious, taking inwards the external space and expanding the views. The light and ventilation are also maximized, allowing a clear and ventilated environment.

The residence is of a contemporary style, typical of the trend in the area. The interior is done in a marvelous, lightly-colored wood that adds warmth to the space.

The living room is fused with the dining room and kitchen in the same space, and thus represents the harmony of its design. All of these spaces were done in a beautifully elegant wood and using very modern styles. The space also has a number of small glass openings and wooden beams that extend from one side of the structure to the other.

The residence reinvents, in some way, the type of private dwelling in the area and provides an alternative solution for residential development that improves upon the already existing model within the limitations of a historically dense neighborhood.
