Located on top of a hill in Christchurch Port Hills, with panoramic views of the South Alps to the west, in New Zealand, this house has a total area of 300 square meters and wonderful views that are form an integral part of its charm.


The firm responsible for its design, Cymon Allfrey Architects, worked by the hands of its architects Cymon Allfrey and Don Roy, in 2016. They paid special attention and care to finding a way to make it so the beautiful views surrounding the structure could be thoroughly enjoyed from the interior of the home. And thankfully, they achieved it; failing in this aspect would have been almost unthinkable!


It is surrounded by wide flat spaces full of greens in which have been created landscaping with rocks of the area.


The large outdoor terraces with wooden floors invite you to sit and enjoy the wonderful views in a completely relaxed atmosphere and in total calm.


Through the large glass walls the exterior merges with the interior creating a space full of natural light and human warmth.


The beautiful wooden floors give that touch of warmth so necessary and important when it comes to creating a home, a place for relaxing moments in company of family.
