This house, located in the city of Icheon-si, in South Korea, has an area of 208 square meters and was designed by the architectural firm stpmj in 2017.

One of its most striking details is the use of a new method of casting concrete, simulating a geological formation, worked in a mixture of cement, water and aggregates (stone, sand, etc.). The cement is mixed with water to form a paste and its properties are reinforced together with the aggregates. These pastes wrap and fill aggregates of various sizes and harden.

This structure consists of two separate buildings to house three families. Two houses are located perpendicular to one another, and share the front and back yard.

The living room is positioned to the south and east for sun exposure and maximized view. The kitchen and bedrooms are connected to the living room with a staircase.

On the second floor of the buildings, there are individual terraces for private family activities. The exterior spaces of the buildings at each level seamlessly connect the interior and exterior of the structure with nature.
