This apartment, covering an area of 61 meters squared, is used for vacational rental services, and was recently renovated by Hiroyuki Ogawa Architects. It’s located in Shibuya, one of the most cutting-edge downtown areas in Tokyo, Japan, and, indeed, all of Asia.
Its interior, a space of little natural light and decorated in dark hues, seeks to give its visitors a sense of tranquility and relaxation, taking them away, in a certain sense, from the noise and bustles of the city life.
Its scarce furniture, which includes a dining room of natural wood with chairs and benches, accompanies a small kitchen with a concrete countertop. It has a number of accessories and shelves of stainless steel, which gives a modern touch to the small space.
The area has walls and a ceiling done in dark gray, and receives natural light through a window to the side of the space, though it is significantly diluted by the reigning darkness.
MORE INSPIRATION
Its bedrooms, with carpeting that covers the floor from wall to wall, giving it a sense of comfort and warmth, find themselves separated from the living room by walls of glass that nevertheless maintain their intimacy with dark and heavy curtains
The bathroom, a modern space, has accessories in white and brown ceramic tile walls, which deviate from the décor of the rest of the spaces.
