This small Denmark apartment was turned into a New York loft-inspired space that plays up its best features—unfinished brick walls and lots of natural light, and has a strong Scandinavian feel.

The living space boldly features an exposed brick wall and a brown leather sofa, which together with an industrial floor lamp and a metal coffee table create a unique textural look.

The kitchen shows whitewashed wooden floors and white walls plus a white tile backsplash. The kitchen cabinets are black wooden ones, and a wooden pillar in the center is of a natural shade. The dining table is a wooden natural one with black framing, and mismatching black chairs and the hanging bulbs over the cooking area give a slight industrial feel to the space.

The bedroom is separated from the dining-living-kitchen space with glass black framed doors, which divide the rooms but still let the light in and look lightweight. The décor is Scandinavian: there’s a large bed next to the window, an oversized artwork and an open closet right in the corner. The interior is flooded with light and it makes the bedroom look more spacious.

The bathroom is done in black and white, with white walls and black cabinets, what’s interesting is that the sink stand is next to the window to enjoy the view and save some space at the same time.

This flat decor shows how to blend Scandinavian aesthetics with touches of modern industrial loft spaces, and make the spaces eye-catchy with textures and not colors.
