Incredible as it may seem, this wonderful structure is part of a coffee shop built in Gijang, near Busan, Port City, the second largest city in South Korea. Gijang is famous for its beautiful and incredible seaside landscapes surrounded by rocky hills that give them an intimidating but, at the same time, mesmerizing appearance. This is part of the attractive that this wonderful cafe offers to visitors – after all, it’s not every day that we can have a cup of coffee while enjoying such views!

It was designed by Heesoo Kwak and IDMM Architects in 2016 and covers an area of 498 m2.

In the exterior, this modern and imposing structure, which in no way resembles the traditional coffee shops that most of us are accustomed to, has various spaces and terraces from which to admire the landscapes. Even better, from there we can enjoy a beautiful and romantic sunset while sharing a cup of coffee, tea, or any drink we can think of.

Its interior is no less impressive. Its immense, well-illuminated, and modern spaces make us forget what we came for, and lead us to admire its details instead.

The tall concrete walls blend with those of glass, and the latter allow us to enjoy the breathtaking views, even if we are sitting inside.

Immense marble stairs take us from one level to another, both perfectly equipped with tables and chairs to enjoy this unique spot.
