This house built in the 1960s in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, was recently remodeled by Branch Studio Architects. Its current owners, who participated actively in the remodeling and reconstruction of the house, inherited it from their deceased grandparents about 3 years ago.

Inside, the living room décor is composed of retro style furniture done in apple green that fills the space with color and gives it a sense of vibrancy. On the other side is a wooden dining room, also in a retro style. Beside this is the kitchen, composed of light wood-paneled storage cabinets in a minimalist style and in soft tones.

The dark stairs with black metal rails, which seem frozen in time, lead us to a wine cellar lit by a hanging glass lamp.

The bathroom with dark wood floors, black tile walls and concrete accessories, gives us the impression of a sober and elegant space.

In the area behind the house we will find wooden platforms lined with perforated metal walls that lead down to the back lawn.

From the garden, we get a complete view of the final image of the remodeled and renovated home, all through the crystal-clear back walls that separate the indoors from the outdoors.
