Built on the side of the mountain, where it seems to glide gracefully, and with the spectacular views that such a location includes, this beautiful cabin of concrete walls covered in black-painted wood invites us to submerge ourselves in it and its surroundings, disconnecting from the world. It sounds like a great choice for those days when we need a break to take a deep breath and start over.

This 100 m2 cottage is located in Ogulin, Croatia, and was designed in 2016 by Tomislav Soldo Architect.

Around it, the beautiful gardens full of lavender flowers and a pure green lawn create a backdrop worth admiring. In a social area, it has a barbecue stand for those days of enjoyment with family and friends.

Already inside, we find beautiful light wood floors that complement the white walls and high ceilings.

A simple living room consisting of a set of chairs and a window seat as a sofa greets incoming visitors. It is accompanied by a fireplace that, in the cold days, will keep its habitants cozy and warm.

On the other side of the living room, we find a kitchen done in a modern and simple style. Taking advantage of the height of the ceiling, a mezzanine floor was built over this to serve as main bedroom.

At night, the light from the indoor lamps seems to flow through the windows and get lost in the dark and solitary surroundings that border it.
