In modern world of gadgets clocks stopped being so necessary and actual, and now they are no more a source that tells the time, they are part of decor, so home owners prefer eye-catchy designs. The clock we are featuring today is one of such items that will definitely stop the show.

The Dusk clock by Lu Yicong will tell you the time and also the time of the day with its color! Transparent/light during the day, and turning dark around sunset, the Dusk indicates the color of the sky at the time of the day.

The clock face comprises two discs of polarized acrylic glass. The polarized discs rotate with time, turning darker as the polarization begins to kick in. Completing one full rotation every 24 hours, the discs go from transparent to opaque based on their orientation with respect to the polarization direction, forming an ever-changing canvas behind the hour and minute hands to tell you much more than just the time. The dimension of Dusk is bound to the Golden Ratio.
