The four founding members of the Bratislava based architectural firm Endorphine purchased this lot on the Green Resort Golf Estate in order to develop this project. This pair of homes is located in a golf resort in the village of Hrubá Borša, also known as Nagyborsa, a village and municipality in western Slovakia in Senec District in the Bratislava Region.
The homes are compact and small in space, but are designed in such a way that this allows the architectural firm to showcase their ability to create much in a limited space. They wished to create a series of rooms that would provide residents with all that they could possibly need, while minimizing the effort needed to care for it. An additional motivation was the desire to create a space that would be versatile enough to be useful to a variety of residents, from young couples, to families, to retirees.
The plot covered by the single-story home measures a total of 450 square meters, while the other home sits on a plot of only 360 square meters. Due to this discrepancy, the architectural firm decided to build vertically for the second home, granting it more space as well as better views over the surrounding golf course.
