Danish Glam Apartment With A Monochromatic Palette And Vintage Finds

This Scandinavian house isn’t your typical Nordic one, first of all, because it belongs to writer Annika von Holdt, who is also a photographer and a stylist. Annika has an amazing eye for details, and you’ll see it at once in her home décor. Second, it’s features lots of passion and glam, which isn’t typical for a Danish interior.

The apartment is located in the historical district, in a building of about 120 years old, surrounded by trees, it is worthy of a Tim Burton movie. The apartment design was completely changed by the owners but the feel of the original style was left: there are moldings on the ceiling, chimneys, vaulted windows and numerous doors.

Annika chose a monochromatic palette but with some contrasts. I’d say that she used minimalist style with glam touches and vintage finds. Annika says that she likes to buy vintage furniture and accessories that have some imperfections because they seem more beautiful to her, and she widely uses them for décor. It’s clearly seen that the owner loves decoration, fashion, design, and photography in the design.

The rooms and spaces are airy and light-filled, which is traditional for Scandinavian décor. There are traditional whitewashed wooden floors and white walls but you can also see many bold glam touches like oversized black and white photos in large refined metallic frames or fur covers. Look at the spaces to get inspired!
