The Saint Father Brochero Chapel is a religious building dedicated to Father Brochero, the first Argentine Saint. It is located in Villa Cura Brochero, Cordoba, Argentina, and was designed by Federico Ochoa in 2017. It covers a total area of 500 square meters.

If we wish to know a bit more about Father Brochero, we could say, firstly, that he was someone who lived with his feet on the ground and his eyes to the sky. The main idea behind the social promotion he moved forward was the progressive conversion of people’s hearts.

The design of the chapel emerges from the ground in a rhomboidal shape, but each segment goes through a metamorphosis which culminates in a vertex that points to the sky.

Secondly, it is important to note that Father Brochero built with techniques and materials available at the time and place where he constructed, such as mud, hay, and wood.

Lastly, the “Gaucho Priest,” as he was known, trusted completely in the abilities of his people. As such, the chapel was completely built by local people, regardless of the complexity of the endeavor.

The modern and striking construction does not go unnoticed by the residents of the area, as much by its gorgeous exterior as by its internal beauty.
