With a surface area of 8.66m by 38m, the challenge that Proyecto C Arquitectos (the Buenos Aires firm in charge of the project) faced was to grant all the requirements and necessities of a home in only two narrow floors. Carried out in 2014, the home would be enjoyed by a couple with two grown children (who would visit them often) and a teenager who would share the house with them.
The entrance to the home, both by foot and by car, goes through an esplanade that shares the level with the living and dining rooms.
Within the garden we’ll find a pool, which presents itself as the perfect place to enjoy the hottest days of the year. We can see the dining room/kitchen from here through the glass walls. This is clearly a modern space, abundant in space and light.
Next to this area, a set of glass doors allow us to pass into the living room.
The interior, designed to allow natural light to enter the space, is a pleasant mix of stone walls and modern stairs.
The living room/dining room gains extra space thanks to the multi-level woodwork, as well as the empty spaces that that connect them to the playroom.
The upstairs bedrooms and modern bathrooms create an intimate environment that invites us to rest and relax.
