Moody spaces are among the hottest trends in decor, and this dark and atmospheric kitchen was created by British kitchen designers deVOL for Petersham cottage. The space is really outstanding, let’s have a look at all the details.

The kitchen features vintage black cabinets with brass handles, which give a chic and refined look to the space. The floor is covered with warm-colored limestone, and there are wooden beams on the ceiling to give the dark space a cozy feel. The countertops are also made with warm-colored wood, and so are shelves over them.

There’s a vintage cooker and some scales to highlight the vintage flavor. The kitchen island features open storage and is highlighted with pendant lamps over it. There are several accessories done in brass and some of wood to tie up the space and make it more solid. The designers found a perfect balance between dark cabinets and warm-colored wooden countertops and accessories, and the result is polished and very chic!
