This project is located in the Oasis de la Campana Reserve, Ocoa, in the region of Valparaíso, in Chile, and covers an area of 90 square meters. It was designed by the architects Enzo Sartori Torres, José Luis Valladares, and Zuar Yasin from the architectural firm Estudio 111 Arquitectos.
The client wanted a second home for holidays, a place where he could spend time with family and friends in a privileged environment.
The house with a metallic structure and partition, and seeks to take full advantage of the aesthetic and natural richness of the environment, so that all its spaces are in communication with its surroundings. The house was designed in such a way that upon entering, one’s eyes go directly to the large windows that frame the beauty of the landscape.
In spite of covering an area of only 90 square meters, the impression it gives is one space and amplitude, due to the width of its area of circulation, the unevenness of the access to the common area, and the fact that its windows reach the ceiling.
Outside, the house is lined with tinged wood and has a lattice of wood that runs from the terrace to much of the rear façade, stopping in the entrance of the house.
An afternoon of rain, sitting by the fireplace with a cup of tea and freshly baked cookies, enjoying the view towards Cerro La Campana, all comes together to create a unique moment.
