This wonderful and bold transformation of a kitchen from the 80’s into a modern and colorful kitchen was carried out by the architectural firm Martin Brothers Contracting, which is based in Goshen, Indiana, USA.

The space of the previous kitchen was opened up in such a way as to create additional space to install a bar area, a large pantry, and a laundry room. The new cabinets, done in white, have internal lights that give them a wonderful touch. The wall where the stove is located was lined with stone, and the island that was installed right in the center of the kitchen was made in turquoise blue with a marble base, thus giving color and life to the space. The result has been really spectacular – a kitchen with a contemporary style, full of life and color.
The modern orange hanging lamps fit perfectly with the curtains, where we can see details in this same color. All of this comes together to create a colorful, pleasant, and cheerful space that invites us to enjoy its facilities.
Stove with stone lined wall
Annexed to the kitchen is the informal dining room or breakfast nook. The colors used in the kitchen have been used here as well – the wooden chairs have been painted blue and adorned with cushions in white and orange. The décor, ultimately, could not be more successful.
