For me, and I’m sure many people will agree, the old constructions have something very special. Maybe it’s that old flavor, that story they always have to tell or maybe that wonderful blend that is created when an old construction mixes with the modern. The result is really fantastic, isn’t it?
This project was formerly a textile factory, and today has become a restaurant that is located in the city of Chocholá, Yucatan, Mexico. It is the result of the renovation of an old structure that was practically in ruins and an interior in which the modern details fit perfectly, creating a mixture that is a sight to behold.
This wonderful transformation was made by Mexican studios Jorge Bolio Arquitectura, Central de Proyectos SCP, Lavalle+Peniche and Mauricio Gallegos, who collaborated on the project to restore the dilapidated engine room, creating a restaurant.
Its exterior is comprised of beautiful terraces with wood floors, and the beautiful vegetation ensures the enjoyment of outdoor meals.

Its interior, wonderfully decorated, connects to the exterior through glass walls, allowing us to take in the modern space full of charm and good taste.
Furthermore, we’ll also find modern and elegant hanging lamps, fine furniture, a magnificent combination of floors, and illuminated glass shelves on rustic, stone walls.
Come nightfall, its spectacular exteriors are filled with light that give off a special charm that covers the entire space, promising us a perfect evening.
