This entire remodeling was made by Appareil Architecture and is located in Villeray, a vibrant neighborhood that lies to the northwest of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The house dates back to the 1920s and covers an area of 372 square meters. Some changes were made to the structure and an extra floor was added, which in turn became a fantastic terrace that the owners can now enjoy with family and friends. It also serves to attract more natural light into the interior of the house.

The dining area has a double-height ceiling, with glass walls that allow light to enter the room and make it bright. In the same area are the kitchen and the living room, sharing a space in perfect harmony.

The modern kitchen, in white marble and wood-covered furniture, is under a wooden ceiling from where several modern lamps hang.

Through the long wooden stairs, we can reach the second level where, once again, we find warm and comfortable spaces, tastefully decorated and temptingly inviting.

Wood becomes present, one more time, in the ceiling and the walls, giving them warmth and the feeling of home. A small terrace there invites us to enjoy the wonderful views over the city.
