This very unique building, with a height of approximately 11 meters, consists of a juxtaposition of seven rooms as large as six to nine square meters. These are all connected via a spiral staircase in the center of the structure. It’s located in a forest of Red Cedar trees, which gives the added privilege of intimacy.

Its wooden exterior allows it to camouflage almost completely with its surrounding environment.

It was designed by Bengo Studio and it is located in Xiuning, Anhui, China.

In its interior, the glass walls located in the different spaces of the house and at different heights allow us to have utterly spectacular views towards the green mountains. It is the place to be for those that love to experience the natural environment.

Its sleek wooden floors guide us through the building and invite us to enter each and every room and experience their unique aspects and conditions. At night, the interior light is reflected to the exterior, into a silent wilderness.

The bedrooms were designed to be extremely small spaces; this is the reason why the frontal wall of each of these rooms is made of glass, opening the room to the spacious exterior. In this way, the size of the room can be omitted, as the attention of the occupant focuses instead on the landscape.
