The restaurant’s building, as well as the whole architectural ensemble that is the street where it is located, is a clear example of Soviet Constructivism.
It was designed by architects Maxim Netreba, Dmitro Chukhleb and Sergiy Andriyenko who make up the team of the architectural firm YOD design lab. It is located in Kharkivs’ka Street, in Sums’ka oblast, Ukraine and covers an area of 330 square meters. This project was carried out in 2017.
The restaurant’s business mission is to focus on developing the culture of consumption of steaks in the city.
It was logical to design the interior of restaurant in a modern style, departing from the principle of the classic steakhouse. The restaurant’s interior is done in black and gray tones with touches of bright copper in the decoration, as well as blue in the furniture.
Meat, and concomitant processes of its preparation, are the key elements around which the whole concept of the institution is tied. As such, the architects, when designing this project, intended to fully reflect the entire aesthetics of backstage processes in the culture of meat consumption.
