This project is located in the city of Seville, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, in Spain. It is fortunate enough to be in a key point of the city: next to the bullring of La Maestranza and the river Guadalquivir. It is a modern, elegant, and functional space, and it has wonderful views over this charming city, which is full of history and corners that drive us to fall in love with it.
It was designed by the architectural firm Francesc Rifé in the year 2015.
The owners of the apartment, which is located on the top floor of a traditional building, wished to have a space that was more open and had more light.
The house is divided between two perfectly defined areas – the day area and the night area. The night area has two small bedrooms, as well as a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a dressing room. The materials used in the design of both bathrooms are Calacatta marble and bleached pine wood.
Right at the entrance, we can see an open kitchen finished in bronze and a living room divided into two spaces: a reading area and a sofa area set in front of the fireplace alongside a television, large windows, and wonderful views of the river.
Beside it, there is a dining room that acts as a foothold between the open space and a back office area. The highlight of the project is the large-format bleached pine used for all walls and floors, except for the entry, office, and bathroom area, where Calacatta marble has been used.
