This old cellar, with an area of 3375 square meters, located in the city of Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia, was the starting point for the architecture firm Morales Vicaria Arquitectura, who in 2016 transformed it into what today aspires to be an icon at regional level, similar to the great gastronomic markets of the world, like Mercado de San Miguel (in Madrid, Spain) or Mercado Roma (in Mexico City, Mexico).

It is the beginning of a generation of gastronomic markets that concentrate several shops that revolve around gourmet food, wine, and good taste. A place to meet and eat and spend time alongside loved ones.

This commercial development also attempts to recall the old train station that was once located on this site.

Its beautiful façade serves as a welcoming face to those who arrive, eager to find a wide and ample diversity of options as far as food is concerned. Its interior has wonderful high ceilings and green plants that fill the space with vibrant color and freshness. The floors, covered by hydraulic ceramic tiles, provide it with an ample source of color that gives it a Latin touch. All of these elements come together to invite us in, and to enjoy all the different options available to us in a relaxed, familiar, and cozy atmosphere.
