Decorating very small spaces is incredibly tricky because you need to accommodate a lot of things and still have a stylish place to live in. but it’s totally possible if you have an artistic taste and know how to pull the things off!

This apartment is an excellent confirmation of this. The owner of this space is an artist, and the apartment itself is only 25 square meters but it includes a bedroom, an art workshop, a home library, a kitchen with a dining room and much more.

The key to success is the complete absence of partitions, however the room is clearly structured, and all zones are clearly separated from each other. Placing furniture along the walls allows the owner to move comfortably and invite guests, there’s enough space even for that. Another idea used to make the apartment more spacious is using white paint on the walls and floor, and a long concrete wall becomes an industrial accent.

Another important role in the interior of this studio is played by windows. Their depth and material (wood instead of the usual metal-plastic) became the key to Trine’s inspiration. The windows themselves are used in different ways: one – instead of a bar for clothing, the second – as a seat.

Most of furniture is done in natural warm-colored wood, which adds charm and comfort to the space. The owner also refused the idea of having curtains because otherwise there wouldn’t be enough light. She put a canvas in the window to protect herself from the sunrays while sleeping.
