This contemporary two-storey house located in Black Rock, Victoria, Australia, was built in 2015 by Madden Building Group.

In the heart of Mid Century Modern Beaumaris sits a development that harks back to the glory days of architecture with its use of glass and material selection. Bold square shapes create a form that has not been seen in the area for decades, timber clad garages seem to be hidden from view as they blend into the facade. Cantilevered overhead are two glazed balconies clad in Alucabond both with views of Port Phillip Bay. Externally the two properties meld as one, it’s not until you enter the properties that the variances in finish become apparent.
